How does FlashZebra.Com accept payments?

PayPal administers the FlashZebra.Com shopping cart.  You do not need a PayPal account to order.  You can order using any major credit card or debit card, a PayPal account, or by using an "e-check".

FlashZebra.Com receives your payment immediately if you use a credit card, debit card or a PayPal account, and FlashZebra.Com typically ships your items within one business day.  If the "e-check" option is used, FlashZebra.com will not send the shipment until the e-check clears — this typically takes 4 to 6 business days.

FlashZebra.Com has no access to your credit card numbers or other financial information, all of which PayPal holds securely.  You place the order, and then PayPal notifies FlashZebra.Com with a list of your ordered items and your shipping address, and credits the FlashZebra.Com account with your payment.

How fast will FlashZebra.Com ship my order?

FlashZebra.Com Inc. ships orders on business days Monday thru Friday.    USPS Holidays may temporarily alter this schedule.

What domestic shipping options are available?

FlashZebra.com uses the United States Postal Service (USPS), originating from Northern Kentucky in the United States.  Two shipping options are available, "Standard" and "Priority".  Many of the FlashZebra.Com items are relatively lightweight and Standard Shipping is often the best value.  However, when the weight exceeds a few ounces you may also want to check out the "Priority" option, as then the difference in cost between "Standard" and "Priority" shipping may be insignificant.  The FlashZebra.Com shopping cart allows you to select either shipping option to see the cost before you actually order.

What is "Standard Shipping"?

FlashZebra.Com uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) "First Class" for shipping packages that are 13 ounces or less.  FlashZebra.Com uses USPS "Parcel Post" for packages that weigh more than 13 ounces.  (The USPS has a 13-ounce limit on First Class.)

First Class delivery times are typically less than 8 business days, often much faster, but on occasion longer than 8 days.  The USPS does not guarantee any delivery time for First Class.

USPS "Parcel Post" delivery times are typically less than 10 business days, often much faster, but on occasion longer than 10 days.  The USPS does not guarantee any delivery time for Parcel Post.

What is "Priority Shipping"?

The USPS quotes an "average" shipping time of 2 to 3 days for Priority shipping, and in almost all cases they meet this goal.  However, note that they do not guarantee any delivery time.  Check out the cost of both shipping options before committing to your final purchase.

Do you offer Delivery Confirmation or Tracking for U.S. packages?

A USPS "Delivery Confirmation" is included with each domestic shipment.  An e-mail will notify you of the delivery confirmation number.  Note that the USPS Delivery Confirmation system makes a log entry when the shipping label is created, and not when the package is delivered to the post office. FlashZebra.Com will send a separate e-mail informing you of the day your package was shipped.

The USPS delivery confirmation system does not track the intermediate status of your package.  The USPS does make a log entry when your package has been delivered.
